We have identified a few analogs for yoUnique. These apps and websites have all proved to work and have some things in common with yoUnique. There are likely to many other analogs for yoUnique especially in the form of dating sites which can be found in thousands on the internet. We have tried to identify the dating sites that we feel are the most important for yoUnique, but we only name two of them and the ones mentioned act as analogs for other dating sites that might exist. The apps that we believe can be analogs for yoUnique can also be many. We chose to only talk about apps that directly connect persons together and therefore make very good analogs for yoUnique we briefly introduce the analogs that we believe are important and then explain why they are important to yoUnique. By doing that we also unveil our value proposition.

At first people would like to meet equals but we believe that the essence of a social app is to think out of the box and make people’s possibilities bigger.
More than just that we’ve noticed that women still have some resistance to go on dates with guys they met on apps like that (because they are not sure they would be safe and also because they fear being judge by others) but in yoUnique people are inside an specific place (no GPS failure) and girls don’t have reasons to deny knowing anyone.

Blendr is the straight version of Grindr and was merged with Badoo. It is a mobile app that connects people from the same areas. For instance Barcelona and surroundings. It allows you to vote for people you might like, if preferences match Badoo lets you know. It is mainly used by people looking for flirts or other. The model is based more or less like linkedin in the sense where the monetize many tools of their service. For example be able to talk to anyone, be highlighted on the search result, etc.

It is important for youNique because of the way it connects people through geolocalization, mutual attraction or taste. We would need to be able to be as efficient in recommending people, places, etc. Also it is important because it helps us define a good business model in order to create constant revenue.

Grindr is a mobile app destinate to gay people. Grindr is the essential location-based app to meet gay, bisexual guys for dating, socialize and friendship.

The technology for this app is old. The user´s of this app are changing for others, because they are having problems with messages. The messages are delayed for hours or even days. The app is very slow and the instant messages are not being sent. the yoUnique will use newer technology and all those messages problem will not exist.

BrazilCupid.com is a website that helps men from all over the world to find brazilian girls to date and to build a serious relationship.
However to join them a big profile needs to be filled and also you’ll find people from anywhere even in different places - states (provinces)- inside Brazil. That means this website can’t show people who are around them exactly.

At first it’s important for yoUnique because the service this website provides is too ordinary, anyone can find tons of websites that are just equal to BrazilCupid.
YoUnique provides a chat with people that are in the same place as you are at the same moment making easier real dates and avoiding uncertainty if the person that are talking to you really exists. Besides, yoUnique don’t ask anybody to fill up a huge profile and it’s easier to use.

It has sites in most of the big countries in the world with meetic.com, meetic.es, meetic.fr etc. It is a website that connects people looking for a relationship. Generally, the users of meetic are older than what we could have seen and more serious in their relations. They look for stable relations, there is an algorithm that matches people regarding their tastes, previous experience on Meetic, etc. Men who are looking to contact an attractive lady need to pay for a monthly subscription whereas everything is free for ladies.

It is important for youNique because Meetic is a ‘historical’ dating website and social network that is still working well and has an interesting revenue model.

join grouper is a social network that joins 2 groups of 3 together. The groups normally consist of 3 people of each sex that go to a bar and have some beers, to get to know each other. What they do is you pay your first drink in advanced to ensure you will show up, and if they don't u have 1 free drink!
Why is it important for yoUnique?
This network is creating a joint venture with the bars or clubs where they get people to attend their bar and get them clients, also this is similar to what we are trying to do in terms of connecting people that they don't know. Its model of business could also be assimilated in our product since a similar thing once the project is finished can be implemented.

Our antilogs are other social Apps that offers the possibility to meet new people through the smartphones location services. These apps usually have a free version that limits the quantity of people that you can look for and talk to. However in general people that use these apps are just interest to talk to the ones that are around, the closer the better. When they pay for the unlimited version more people will appear for them to talk but they will probably still just talk to people that are near.
As yoUnique gets it’s revenue by charging clubs and establishments (that will make their advertising through the app) we can offer people the FULL version with no cost. This advantage would probably win more consumers and make it attractive enough to spread the app quickly.

We believe
that people are always ready to use new types of social media. yoUnique will
bring a whole new aspect to the concept of social media. It is an APP specialized
to meet new people while partying. It is not a dating APP but can still be used
as such if the users want to.
Will a good and easy to use interface help us
keep members active?
The APP has to be attractive and simple to use. Users also need to be able to choose if
they want to be “seen” or not, this has to be done to prevent issues with “creeps”
and “stalkers”. People can sign in at a
bar and they can always receive ad’s, they can also see other users at the bars
that have chosen to be “visible” look at their profiles and decide if they want
to become “visible” to them alone or everyone at the location. If the APP user
interface is good and it works for the users there numbers will grow.
Will endorsers take this new
advertising-platform with open arms?
The APP is a perfect place for promoting products, yoUnique ads can be made uniquely for the
client and aimed at certain people at the places the products are sold. We can
even specialize the ads and make users fill out a questionnaire in the APP so
we know their favorites drink, club etc. by doing this a club can offer the

Will the APP “go viral” ?
If all things are done correctly we believe it can. We have decided to use a big event
like Sónar Barcelona to get the ball rolling, there we are going to give
endorsers the chance to advertise for free giving some very good offers to the
users. By this we believe that we can gain a solid group of users which will
tell others about the APP.
